Between listening and playing, surface and undertow, empirical and speculative, Tone Undertow brings together two choreographers and two composer / instrument builders. Experiential and fleeting layers condense into an intricate universe of singular and ephemeral materials. Moving between the self-contained and the co-dependent a language is manifested that takes flight from its sources and transfigures reality.
