Phantom My Love

er

Phantom My Love

Phantom My Love dives into a nameless-intuitive, between earth and ether; where a craving for touch meets a lonely universe of memories. Its world seeks to hold and transcend physical distance; from people we love, have lost and miss. A longing for human touch - through myriad expressions, phenomena of connectedness and magnetism between physical bodies or between bodies and non-tangible energies / spaces.

The piece unveils tender tensions within presence-absence, love-loss, action- inhibition. The suggested polarities are perceived as a syntax of drives that animate and move us as living-beings beside, away and towards each other. Innate power and porosity merge and the dancers collide as one inseparable body. Their embryonic connection sets them free to be each with her solitude, her memories, her ghosts, and together weaved in a ritual of desire and longing; held, embraced and surrendered.

A Lover
a stranger
a lullaby singer
a dreamer
a restless
somebody sightless

Phantom my Love,
come back to me
Phantom my Love,
lay down and sleep
